Abstract: 

1956: The first GC-TOFMS (Dow Co.)  

1991: Comprehensive Gas Chromatography (GCxGC) demonstrated (Lui & Phillips) 

1996: First production TOFMS built (LECO Corp) 

1999: GCxGC-MS demonstrated (Frysinger & Gaines) 

2002: First production GCxGC-TOFMS (LECO Corp) 

2005: Breath analysis by GCxGC-MS demonstrated (Libardoni) 

From these foundational moments, gas chromatography and comprehensive gas chromatography analysis of breath has grown. This poster aims to give a diagrammatical overview of the last two decades of breath analysis by GC and GCxGC-TOFMS. Showing diseases under examination, connecting researchers from across the world and providing links to the papers that tell the full story.
